Performance Regulations:
I believe our job starts where the manufacturer ends. We wish
to take an instrument from its ready to ship status and move it
into a level of performance achieved when the pads, springs,
felts, corks and mechanisms are adjusted such that an
instrument is airtight. This will allow your instrument to be
capable of playing at performance level. When your instrument
is properly adjusted you are able to play with an ease you may
not have known and your instrument becomes more a part of
you.
Performance Repair and Maintenance:
As with everything else that has great value musical
instruments require regular maintenance in order to perform
their best. Mechanical parts wear, pad materials dry out and
age, and our environment attacks and degrades metals and
woods. When instruments are maintained regularly they sound
better. You will be more satisfied with your playing while
preventing much more costly repairs later. Many of our jobs
are laid out in specific title and structure. We do however offer
repairs based on careful evaluation and diagnostic testing
many of which are not listed as specific jobs.
