Buffing & Lacquer Service:
Many customer have requested this service where
they can do all their own work less the mess of
buffing, degreasing, and lacquering, their
instruments. We offer this now at National Band.
Work performed includes: Stripping lacquer from
instruments, buffing of the instrument without
strapping or polishing. This will give the average
instrument a good shine and appearance but will not
make a worn instrument look like new. We offer
the extra strapping and polishing to those customers
that would like a better job on the more used
instruments. Next, the instrument is hot vapor
degreased and then baked epoxy lacquer is applied.
The instrument must be shipped with valve caps to
protect the threads during lacquering. Please call if
you are unsure about how far to tear down an
instrument or how to pack it for shipping.
For any repairs not listed in our price list please call or e-mail for an estimate.
