Give Your Instrument A Second Wind
|
Q: When shipping an instrument should I send it in the case?
A: It's usually better to ship it without the case, however make sure to pack it in a box large enough to
provide room for packing protection materials. Also be sure to pack it in tightly. The exception would
be a French horn. We prefer those shipped in the case with packing materials inside the case and the
box you will be shipping it in. As mentioned above pack it tightly.
Q: I have a horn that has three different colors can you refinish it while keeping all the colors?
A: Yes. In most instruments the colors are from different metals such as brass, nickel and copper.
These metals will retain their color when refinished and coated with a clear lacquer.
Q: I have an instrument that's missing parts. Can you still fix it?
A: Yes. We have many parts on hand for both newer and older instruments. Many times we can also
make parts then they are not available.
